After owning this hat for a year now, I can attest to the fact that it does exactly what it's advertised to do. In addition to this it is adaptable to wear the peak in any position within the typical 360 degrees. I prefer straight ahead but it's your call. It has been my personal experience that when people see you approaching wearing the hat, they won't stop you and bore you with intelligent conversation. Another plus!
